Massey had been leading the effort for more transparency around the files related to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
He explained the reasons yesterday for his request.
Massey had argued the name of a prominent sultan who was linked to a torture video should be unredacted.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch announcing on ex-Monday night the names of the non-victims had been redacted as requested, keeping victims' names blacked out.
Blanch saying that EOJ is committed to transparency.
At least six men have reportedly been unredacted.
