And today marks the 40th anniversary of the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster when the Shuttle 7 astronauts were killed by an explosion shortly after launching on a cold Florida morning from Cape Canaveral.
Disintegration of the vehicle began after an O-ring seal in its right solid rocket booster failed at liftoff because of the cold weather.

As tensions remain high after the second fatal ice shooting in Minneapolis in less than a month, President Trump said he spoke with local officials about the situation.

Some say they were threatened with violence and death and pushed into dangerous frontline roles.

Thousands of flights were canceled across the country Monday following the deadly winter storm that hit over the weekend with travelers at Boston Logan International Airport seeing the worst of it.
Fox TV affiliate Boston 25's news is Drew Caritas is at the airport with more.
More than 5,000 flights were canceled in the U.S.
on Monday and at least 30 people have reportedly died because of the storm.
