The suspect had reportedly cut himself before police arrived and threatened to kill two people in the room he had barricaded himself in with.

Trouble in Portland.

Two people shot Thursday afternoon in an incident involving federal agents in Portland, Oregon.

Portland Police Chief Bob Day also says police were not involved in the shooting.

The Department of Homeland Security saying that one of the two people shot a member of the Venezuelan gang known as Trende Aragua.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem reacting to the shooting death of a woman who was trying to drive through an active ICE operation in Minneapolis the day before.

She said protesters continued to attack ICE officers and the officer believed his life was in danger.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry have called the DHS account propaganda and BS.

Mayor Fry saying the agent was, quote, recklessly using power that resulted in somebody dying.

The Trump administration's condemned the rhetoric, saying it puts agents in danger.

And Venezuelan leaders freeing some political prisoners in a gesture to seek peace after American forces captured President Nicolas Maduro and his wife this past weekend in Operation Absolute Resolve.

President Trump asked how he interpreted the move on Fox's Hannity.
