Professor Wendy Brown and her colleagues have looked at two cohorts of women, one born in the 1970s, one born in the late 80s and early 90s, voice-verified

tracked their weight for four years when these women were both in their early 20s. voice-verified

The women who were born later were almost four kilograms heavier at the start of the study and gained weight at twice the rate over the same period of time as those born in the 70s. voice-verified
