And I when I think of sense and sleep, Norman, I don't think about farting.
I actually think about lavender.
That to me is the thing that's sort of culturally most attached to sleepiness.
So maybe.
Maybe that's where we start, 'cause it actually has quite a long history as sort of a sleep adjacent herb.

I mean, in the early twentieth century it was used as a effectively an antiseptic, which is an interesting but probably not that relevant sidebar.
It really wasn't until aromatherapy took off in the nineteen thirties onwards.
And then aromatherapy really kind of had a a big moment from about the 70s onwards.
And lavender has sort of taken to the fore in terms of the herb that people associate with sleep.
I don't know if it's just because it's like relatively easy.
Did a farm, it smells kinda nice.
