Jenny had a physiotherapy practice in Sandyford, and back in 2021 she got in touch to say that a young bird, a goldfinch, had flown into her premises and was crashing into the windows. voice-verified

So what you should do really is take it and put it into an old cardboard box like a shoe box, put it into the dark, keep voice-verified

Somewhere quiet, somewhere fairly warm, not too warm for them. voice-verified

Leave them for there for half an hour or so, then take it out, put it onto the grass, open the top and see if he flies away. voice-verified

And if he flies away, he'd probably fly into the nearest bush and just observe him for a little while, maybe ten minutes or so, see that everything is okay, and then he'd get his bearings and he'd fly away. voice-verified

If he doesn't leave the box, take it back in again for another half hour or so and repeat it. voice-verified
