That's exactly what we want.
The president is taking risks that he was warned about with the plane and with the presidency itself.
And so...
Somebody went to the New York Times.
Now, that is a national security issue.
Exactly.
They're running the show at the end of the day.
They're the power and they need the most information they can possibly get.
The administration isn't even telling us the number of wounded in this conflict.
And you see these explosions slamming into American bases.
You know, 17 have been killed, but we don't even know how many are wounded.
That's enough of a problem.
But what Trump is really trying to do here is if you give him an inch in any way, he's going to take a mile.
What this demonstrates is there needs to be a federal shield law over the course of administrations, including yours.
And you did with the Obama administration.
They did subpoena James Rosen and the AP.
But that was up to the judgment of the president and his team how far they would go.
They didn't go anywhere near this far.
But depending on the goodwill of presidents to the press is not going to work.
And that's why there should be a federal shield law that puts some kind of law, some kind of boundaries around it, because for all the claim of constitutional rights, there is no constitutional right to receive a leak of classified information.
