The San Jose Sharks handed the Boston Bruins their first home loss since Christmas with a 4-2 victory on Thursday night at TD Garden.

Colin Graff scored a key shorthanded goal.

And goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic made 38 saves to secure the win for San Jose.

Earlier in the game, Tyler Toffoli set up Michael Mises' first period tally and got credit for the second when Macklin Celebrini's shot deflected off.

Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman, an in, Graff then broke away for a 3-0 lead early in the third period.

The Bruins had been on a hot streak, winning 13 straight at home since their last defeat on December 23rd.

Fans in Boston watched as their team finally dropped a game in their own building after such a dominant run.

Looking ahead, the Sharks head to Montreal on Saturday, while the Bruins hit the road for three games, starting in Washington.
