The Giants are trying to build up, build away from a prior GM, build through the cap struggle that they were left.
And the Ravens were just continuously good year after year.
So you're just kind of constantly reloading and albeit from a worse draft position most of the time.
It's just a completely different philosophy and methodology.
But the three biggest things that I noted are all things that you already said.
over the six years I looked at number one, the Ravens let good players fall to them and let other GMs overthink the draft, which is something the Eagles do very well as well.
You, you,
Don't don't get worried about players, you know, falling or whatever.
If other teams are letting good players fall because they decided on a need and everyone assumed that was going to go number five and now it's number nine and he's still on the board and what's going on.
Like the Ravens will happily scoop up players that are falling for stupid reasons, which is not something the Giants do.
Another really big one.
obtaining lots of picks i don't know if they're all compensatory picks or what but they there are a lot of them are several years between the third and fourth round there's a lot a lot of picks um and they use like fourth rounds where they have like five picks and they use them and they use them well too
You know what that is?
That's PFF mock simulator.
Well, what if I move back, like, this spot and then this spot, and then I have 20 picks in the draft?
It's crazy.
And then the third thing β and this is the most important, I think β
at least one offensive lineman every single year, and a lot of times two, with one of those being always on day one or two.
Yeah.
Almost always.
