Yeah.

I think owner-operator is an important distinction to make because we hear of lots of family businesses, far fewer family-run businesses.

And the fact that you and your brother are working together and both owning while running in San Pietro with your family is such a beautiful and special thing that I think every guest, from a dining guest to someone who stays with you for months,

and years at a time feels.

So for context, for the listeners that have not had the pleasure of staying at the property yet, Il San Pietro is a hotel in Positano on the Amalfi Coast, family owned, family run.

both with the biological family, but also the team that has grown with the property in a beautiful way.

I was only exposed to the property three years ago, but I saw the same faces with growing excitement and love every time I came onto the property.

What I noticed even more importantly is the reoccurring guests that so clearly have a generational bond with the team that they've grown with.

I think also it is a real postcard for Italy, but not this kind of classic cheesy Vespa postcard of Italy that is somewhat corny.

It is truly a representation of Italian luxury and Italian excellence due to the shine and simplicity.

I think the famous limone pasta

is actually an ambassador of Il San Pietro because it's so complex, but presented so simply.

It has a very unique cult following from around the world and has some sort of members club energy, I would say, that's rather global.

Although we're in Italy.

Today we're sitting in the Palazzo Santa Cruz, which is the four and a half bedroom villa, slightly extended away from the main hotel property for people who want a taste of Positano town and a different view and maybe more of a private energy.

The hotel itself has so many unique attributes that I'd love to

explain on the podcast a little more.

Every single room is different.
