So one thing I really want to point out, because there are so many people who just will never see air in Justin Baldoni and are firmly anti-Blake, and will say, clearly Jenny Slate is trying to be friends with Blake Lively, and she's being pressured or coerced.
She knows their power in Hollywood.
That's why she's giving this deposition.
And I just think that when Jenny says we weren't close at the time, but she still felt the need to speak up about the way Justin was talking to Blake, clearly this interaction did go down exactly as Blake said it went down.
And I also believe that the fact that she kind of
gives this explanation where she says like i know it can be awkward to bring it up it's you know but we're just not doing that anymore she kind of i think does it and as polite and as like non um yeah she's not trying to be a dick to him or to make him feel dumb yeah but she's just like hey we're just like not doing that anymore like yeah even though it's awkward to bring up
I feel like she handles this in a good way in person and in real time.
No, she absolutely does.
And I think that she's just trying to tell him like, hey, these comments are inappropriate.
Maybe you haven't gotten the message or the memo, but we're not doing this anymore.
And I just think the fact that she felt the need to do that and that she did this in this moment before anything really has โ before like Blake has usurped the film or whatever โ
