Yeah, so a few years ago, my boyfriend, we were dating for like six months.
He did a turkey trot on Thanksgiving morning.
Right.
So I ended up getting there just in time to catch the very end.
And before I could make it over to him to, like, celebrate with him, a woman comes up, grabs the trophy, and kisses him on the lips.
Oh, man.
I mean, before he could even see me, I get this text from him, and he's like, oh, I got injured, so I'm not going to be able to make it to Thanksgiving dinner.
The show was ahead of its time to represent a Black family in ways the television hadn't shown before.
