Okay, diva.
A little bit risque, but you know.
A little bit scared, but impressed.
Well, I wasn't scared.
I should have been scared.
I am, yes.
Well, through sheer fighting.
Like your previous speaker said, you're fighting against the council.
It's just through sheer perseverance we actually... We just kept going to the council and saying, look, we need...
we need to make the beach mass.
We're, you know, we'd like to be a part of the society.
We'd like to be able to get out to the beaches with our families, with our friends and not feel like we're, you know, the odd one out.
And, yeah, they eventually, you know, cooperated and we got the, finally, we got the beach mass on one of the beaches.
And we have a number of beaches around the Arras area that, you know, would be suitable
like Galway, and, you know, it's just, it's an awful shame that we have to, for something that comes naturally to able-bodied people, it's an awful shame that those of us that have mobility issues have to fight, fight, fight for basic things like access to a beach.
I mean, come on, that's as basic as they get.
As far as I'm aware, they're a permanent feature in Belmullet.
But I mean, you know, if they need to be taken up, they are taken up.
You know, and it shouldn't be a big issue.
I mean, if people are willing to actually, as your previous speaker said, if people are willing to volunteer their time to put down the mask and take them back up again, it should not be an issue in this day and age.
