Yeah, well look, we've been very clear, notwithstanding our friendship with the US, that Greenland is, you know, under under Denmark's uh rule unless and until the people of Greenland decide otherwise.

And at the moment the people of Greenland decided that they're quite happy to stay in the position that they're in.

Uh and we've shown full solidarity with the Kingdom of Denmark and indeed uh with the people of Greenland.

again, this is just one of the the difficulties in the relationship with the US.

There's no point saying anything else.

Um but one I think that we're on those particular issues which are which are difficult for us that if we stand together and indeed stand together with with with neighbours of Greenland like Canada uh I think you can achieve a lot more.

And I think we've shown that actually this year.

Yeah.

Well look, the Taoiseach will meet Antonio Costa, say the president of the European Council, where they will have a very good discussion about where I suppose the Irish Presidency sees uh the budget negotiations for the which is for a seven year budget.

And again, it's important to remember where this affects people back home.

This is about the common agricultural policy, it's about European uh funding, it's about the Horizon programme for universities, it's about the Peace Plus programme which funds the North of Ireland and the border counties.

So there's a lot

of funds in there that Irish people would be uh you know used to the the the leader rural development funding for example.

So so we're in the middle of negotiations.

I've met about half of the my counterparts across the European Union.

I meet the other half next week.

um they're in what's called confessional style meetings where I meet the ministers basically one on one with their with their budget experts.

Um and then it's up to us then by the first week of October to put together what's called a negotiating box.
