Well, that's a heck of a question to start with.
What do I make of it?
Um, I can be quite cynical.

And given the fact that screens are practically everywhere, whether it's home, whether it's business, you know, whether it's in a hotel.
it opens up a huge, huge can of worms in terms of actors, both state and non-state actors.
Who, given the technology, these increasingly embedded inside these, and you know, they call them smart, I'm putting air quotes.
I'm not showing it right now, but air quotes.
Um, these smart, these smart uh screens, uh, incredible temptation to take full advantage of it.
So
I think it's important right up front to say that
you want to say on a more passive level, it's a mass market device that allows for permer uh pervasive commercial tracking.
course you see the you see the ads, right?
But what what is increasingly happening over the in the intervening years of the smart TVs is capturing what you're watching, what you're looking at, how long, how often, what channels.
No, because I can tell you from my own background and when I used to be in the national security arena, and I'll just speak for from my previous background, is that there's an insatiable obsession.
Just unending to just get as much data as possible.
And we know, and this is something I've talked about in various fora, including companies who who make a lot of money in this arena, is the d the monetization, the commoditization of a person via devices and just profitizing from it and selling, selling it.

or to others and other brokers who can then further profit from it and combine it with all kinds all kinds of other data.
