Well, that's a complicated question.

I think at the very least, given that Green was fired before Rutherford, given that Boudreaux was hired by ownership before Rutherford, given that Rutherford nailed his first coaching hire when he hired Rick Tockett and Tockett departed on his own volition.

I don't really have a problem with Rutherford getting, like, one do-over behind the bench.

That's fine, but my point is more that Rutherford didn't fire him.

I think they made a really tremendous error behind the bench, and I think it's shown in how disorganized this club is even on their back-to-back wins.

I just think the quality of NHL coaches, like these guys are monsters, man.

They're beasts.

And if you have a guy who can't really keep up with them, I just think it's worth like minus 20 points in the standings.

I don't think this is practical given how the team plays, given how frequently Foote has pointed fingers, young players, injuries, just given the lack of accountability, given the lack of clarity in how the club has communicated with their fan base from their head coach, who's your day-to-day spokesperson.

I just don't think that's tenable.
