Yeah, I would say the the Palace of Versailles not a bad home away from home, is it really?

And did you take some some of the cologne with you just, you know, go back into the palace, respritz it to give it a kind of spray three hundred years later.

So obviously that was a really great experience for you because it gave you your perfumery training alongside your chemistry training, but also going out into the world and it making new experiences, meeting new people, did that really help you form your creativity around your perfumery in any way?

So actually the the the whole kind of company in the the clone started really from a fusion of different inspiration points across the world.

So it sort of brought that all together.

Yeah, it just works on such a primal level and I even like you know, subconsciously that we don't even think and I spoke to a perfumer, you know, uh on this season actually who talked about m fragrance really being a global product because you're actually working with so many different people, not just you know, inspiration points or manufacturing, but also pulling your materials from all over the world.

And I think it's it's a really kind of really great example of humans collaborating and working together.

together and I think that's one of the beautiful beautiful things about it.

Yes.

Um, so you're the first woman to be at the helm of your company.

How does that feel?

Yeah, and to pay tribute to those women perhaps whose work has maybe gone unsung throughout the history of the company.

And that's, you know, an amazing thing to be able to do.

Shall we talk the the the fragrance then?

Because it's it's such an icon and um it you know it was the first ode de clone, as you said.

Uh Johann Maria Farina was the first to pair uh bergamot and other citrus oils with alcohol.

And so here we are, sort of 317 years later, from it coming out in 1709.

And the fragrance is still relevant.

So what do you think makes it, first of all, just so relevant and still such an icon today?

I I agree.
