Congress has laid down, doesn't even want to debate this and that there'll be no legislative record about the true intent and therefore no constraints on what this amendment actually means.
So you'll have White House counsels from here to infinity who sit over there and write special interpretations of the laws, just like Donald Trump's administration has reinterpreted the War Powers Act of 1973 this year and says that he doesn't have to follow it now.
You've got to go back and look at legislative intent.
We'll never know what that was from the authors because we never had a debate here in Congress.
Well, that's because we're doing their bidding.
We're fighting their war.
But the longer term thing outside of the war with Iran that Israel wants is to burrow in like a tick into our national defense authorization.
They don't want to be called out as a separate line item.
Because they know popularity for foreign aid is going down in the United States, now maybe not among members of Congress yet because they're influenced by the Israeli lobbyists, but they know their popularity is waning and they know it's an exposure to be a separate line item in the appropriations bill.
So they would like to be inside of an appropriations bill where instead of us giving them money that
it shows up in an appropriation that they then go spend at Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and the other defense contractors.
It would just be, we give them the bombs, we give them the material that they need to conduct wars, and we give it to them, sort of just transfer it on planes, and we write that off as our own defense.
That's what they would like to have.
What I'm curious about is, did this cost APAC extra to get this bill passed, or is this covered in their regular congressional subscription plan?
I don't know.
Is this like they have to upgrade the premium to get this bill in, or is this just automatically covered?
