So this might be controversial to say, but... Today on Making It Manufacturing, I'm joined by Bruce Klopfenstein, currently the CQV project manager at GSK.
Bruce is an experienced CQV project director with over 30 years experience across the industry.
He brings a unique look at CQV from having spent time on the EPC and the client side.
Welcome to the podcast, Bruce.
Good.
And to start with, I guess, how did your talk go this morning at ISPE?
As for our listeners who couldn't attend the event or virtually watch, what was your talk on?
It's definitely on my agenda to dive into that topic later on with you.
But to start with, you've had a unique career journey.
I think working in a number of different
Um, areas, you know, you've worked with IBM, you've been on the APC side, Tiffany's in New York.
I think you had a bit of gaming in Las Vegas, I think from my research.
Um, so I guess, um, what drew you to the life science industry and what has kept you in it?
And what do you think seeing your dad only in that one company or that area for such a long time?
Do you think that sort of stemmed your curiosity to different industries and challenges and moving abroad for even?
I think you've lived in a number of different countries.
Yeah, could have.
Yeah.
And what do you think in the different industries that you worked in, what skills did you learn that you think you brought forward into sort of CQD and engineering?
And if you could pick one job that you had back throughout that whole time that maybe you felt the most freedom or the most enjoyment, it might not have been in the life science industry.
