Going for five in a row had never been done before.
But you see, for me, I've never played a game of Gaelic football where I haven't sweated me backside off for 20 minutes before playing a match.
I know you haven't, yeah.
That doesn't mean it's right.

But I'm just saying my normality is that going out and playing without doing that would seem totally abnormal to me.
That's the way it is.
You see, the way you've described it, there's two things that jump out at me.
One, you just burst into life when you're talking around the detail of all those games in the 70s and the early 80s.

it's hugely impressive like just the clarity and the detail you're recalling all these these incidents yeah and you know it's it's instilled in your mind and you can clearly see that and your body language just explodes and you just come into like a passion and a flow state really when you're talking about these incidents and it's very very impressive i have to say just listening to you there there's another thing that i've kind of picked up on that you know like so you sound a wee touch better
