So once I got through her, then we got the rest of it.
Then we got the dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia.
We already had the auditory processing that a psychologist wanted to wait on an attention diagnosis because she obviously had so much going on.
And like I was saying, you know, these things weave together and impact each other.
So it's very hard to separate out what actor and what isn't.
And so after three years of, um,
remediation, not only working with specialists, but at a school geared towards this, when we went back for a reevaluation, and some of these things were still coming up, that's when we got the inattention, exact functioning, and the sensory processing.
I just went into it, you know, when I need to learn something, you're right.
I just go full steam ahead.
And if there's a book I haven't read, I will guarantee you I've probably heard of it.
So I'm a voracious reader and I tacked it that way.
I mean, I just, you know, consulted blogs and attended lectures and just tried to learn everything that I could about it.
I mean, I joke all the time.
I mean, not only am I not an educator by nature,
background, I really kind of tried to get out of the psychology classes too.
I mean, I'm kind of like a business person.
I was in advertising.
I'm just like, I don't understand any of this.
I didn't even understand these terms.
I had no idea what they were talking to me about.
