Stoner has yet to pay the judgment of $68,002.10 and further criminal charges have not been pursued at this time. When my team and I first started working on this case, summer of 2024, I spoke with community member and former Politico Justin in one of my early interviews. I'm so thankful to Justin and all of the participants this season for their time.

When speaking with someone like Megan Stoner, I knew I had to play my cards correctly. This is why you'll often hear me playing dumb with Megan. I don't want to come across too strong, as I want to keep her talking, but I'm also trying to get her to give me information. At this point, the police had already visited Stoner in jail to try and get her to talk and she refused.
