Like, I think your window, and I don't want to over-exaggerate how long it's going to be open because one doesn't know, and I don't know how long the Knicks will allow the window to be open because it's always possible that if they fail out early this year, they'll look at the Giannis opportunity and say, screw it, let's blow it up, let's try it this way, and that could make things worse.
I mean, certainly on the table.
But I think that you can't live in fear about next year or the year after.
But I think what you're saying is why you have to win a championship.
And the reason why I, as a fan, even with teams that come out of nowhere, have that same mentality of, I don't know if I'm going to be back.
Those are the words I used after the Mets lost in the NLCS to the Dodgers.
And it's early this season, so I don't know what's going to happen, but there's a damn good chance I'm going to be right.
Same thing with your team getting a game five of the World Series or having a leading game one of the World Series.
And so I think as a Knick fan, you shouldn't be fearful of it, but I understand in the back of your mind realizing this is our shot.
The Knicks could end this run by deciding this isn't working and making a massive trade during the offseason, and there's major risks that are attached to that.
It could also work, but it could also send things backwards.
