So that game doesn't work.

If you want to include just the top, top of the Eastern Conference, like the other top three seeds in the East, last year the Knicks were 2-9.

This year, a respectable but not great 5-5.

Again, buoyed by the fact they couldn't beat the Detroit Pistons.

So whatever metric you want to look at, whether it's the beat good team metric, whether it's how they've been overall for 80 games because they still have two more left, defensively, offensively, whatever stat you want to look at.

Get better this year.

And you know who deserves like a tiny bit of credit for that?

Like just a little bit.

The retort to that is you better win in the playoffs.
