You just can't help it.
Because any team that gets deep into the postseason has...
quarterback competency.
Let's not say you got superstar quarterback, but it's quarterback competency.
The Jets don't have that.
And so it's easy to just pine for that.
But the reality is this team needs to be rebuilt, the Jets I'm talking about, in so many different facets.
And if you have a defensive head coach whose superpower is calling defense, then you better give them the pieces in order to do that really effectively.

If I'm the Jets, I'm focusing on getting this defense to be as great as possible this season.
That's with draft, obviously.
It's with free agency.
We already saw it.
It's starting with trades.
And then keep games tight and close.
And maybe you pull some of them out.
