Or is it about literally a trust they say they've set up now?

I did want to answer this quick text.

It says, Tim, we have a trust as we have a business.

We only have a family home in the trust as it's our only asset.

It costs us approximately $1,000 a year to run it.

Should we keep it?

Not specific financial advice, but I would tend to think if you've gone to the trouble of keeping your house in a trust, I would tend to keep it myself.

And I probably wouldn't hurt to get a little bit of advice from someone who's maybe not one of the trustees now, just get some advice from someone about why you might want to keep it.
