Uh is he the guy you want being your DH on an everyday basis when everyone is back healthy and you need to find spots for different guys?
So they've got some moving pieces to be creative with offensively, defensively.
uh you know they're they're they're putting that bullpen together they can figure out what how they want to fix their rotation but you know you've got in Jacob Mizurawski at the top of that rotation that is you know the guy who's probably the Cyoung front runner still in the National League and the guy that you go into a postseason series thinking he knowing he's your game one starter, you know
No, no offense to what Freddie Peralta had been for them last year, but going back a few years, this is this is the best top of the f top of the rotation starter they've had since Corbin Burns when he won the Cy Young.
Uh and that that's such a weapon in a postseason series that it makes them maybe a a a better bet this year or or at least a bigger hurdle for for LA than they were eventually last year.
It's probably the team I'm looking at as the one that has the clearest path to a a wildcard berth.
You know, they they they've played better blade.
I think it's six in a row that they won, uh to get back over five hundred.
So it's nice that that uh there's no under five hundred team in the playoffs if it they started today in the American League.
Yesterday they were too.
So uh that that's that's nice to see.
Uh but
You know, Cleveland, their their pitching has been re the the pitching has been really good uh in the second part of the season.
The offense has come around Steven Kwan after a really slow start has been uh you know the best version of himself lately.
Chase Delater's been playing really well lately.
And so you look at, you know, man, if if they just get Jose Ramirez hitting anything resembling what we're used to seeing Jose Ramirez be, uh then that offense can can be, instead of, you know, twenty-ninth or thirtieth in the league, it can be a real force for them.
So I I think the Guardians stand out to me.
Uh, you know, the the Blue Jays that they've just suffered so many injuries to that rotation, uh, that, you know, a team that I thought was gonna be there, you know, in at the all-star break and even a little bit before the trade deadline, the Toronto and Seattle were the two teams I expected to make a jump.
Uh, and they just haven't done that yet.
I think they're they're both five under five hundred right now, just waiting for them to see if they can make a move.
