if you were if you were an organization opposed to this, you could say things like, Well, what if an organization or a person uh contributes uh dark money to a Supreme Court justice's reelection and they this this entity gives this justice a million dollars and then two years later they actually have a case before the Supreme Court.
The conflict of interest is massive.
You would have justices recusing themselves repeatedly because they cannot hear those cases.
Or maybe they wouldn't recuse themselves and just live with the conflict of interest.
So that would be an argument that the opponents of this could make.
Uh why do you think they actually succeeded s with such spectacular flair?

Before we leave this, I should note that there's a district court uh judge who's ruled a bunch of abortion regulations are unconstitutional.
And so I think we're gonna have a huge state house fight over abortion.
It's not gonna stop.
This is gonna not put an end to it.
And Kansas is gonna continue to be sort of an epicenter of of what it means to have legal abortion.
And so forth.
So let's let's pivot over to the governor's race.
Uh we had seven Republicans running for the nomination, three Democrats, and uh Republican state Senate president Ty Masterson won the nomination.
He got over forty percent of the vote, I believe, and uh that doubled up the his nearest competitor.
Why do you think why do you think Ty Masterson is the nominee in twenty twenty six?
and former Governor Jeff Collier just totally bailed out of the race.
He didn't get the endorsement, he's out.
