So part of your response to this gerrymandering and the fact that Republicans seem to easily get elected in this congressional seat is to build sort of a Democratic Party in rural Kansas.

Is that correct?

And to put an exclamation point on this, I'm looking at the campaign finance reports from March of this year.

And some of the challengers in the race have, well, had at that point less than $10,000 in the bank.

But Tracy Mann, the Republican incumbent, has $2.5 million.

And that kind of infrastructure and that financial backing make it really daunting for challengers.

So let's talk about some of the couple of the issues that you brought up when you first launched your campaign.

You talked about trade wars and tariffs and some of the decisions made by the White House, which were not really pushed back on very fiercely by Congress, which would be your role if you were elected.

So you want to talk about those trade issues?
