There's been just a whole series of lawsuits about the state's reluctance to fund public education.
As you mentioned, it's in the constitution, uh, suitable education of kids.
So the the legislature uh per an agreement uh with the judicial branch has uh obligated itself to certain levels of funding, and and you and the legislature have met that uh uh over the
Years.
That's good for kids, right?
Put a finer point on that, the next governor
And the legislature will be rewriting that formula and how that money is spent and really how much is spent and and passed along to uh local school districts.
So it's a very significant thing.
And I think the rewriting of that has been postponed until after the November election for a reason.
