Let's talk about taxes in the Kansas legislature, income taxes, there's sales tax on food was done away with in the a couple of years ago.

Um do you wanna just kind of address your sense of the taxation question and and w where America oughta go?
you're talking about here is that Kansas got rid of the state sales tax, not the local sales tax, but the state sales tax on groceries and essential items.
And you're suggesting there were some Republicans in the Kansas legislature who thought that maybe they could re implement sales tax on food to help buy down property taxes.

So part of your concern about taxation, we'll just think about it in federal terms, is that there's inequities, that the wealthy can uh store away their income and avoid paying hefty income taxes where
You know, middle class people uh earn what they earn and they pay taxes and that and so there's an inequity in terms of how people are taxed.

How are you gonna resist the temptation to do uh what others I guess have and kind of sold out to the donors?
