And it was just then she told the court that she basically said, oh, I've left my shoes behind in the park.
Do you mind if I stop and go and get them?
And the driver of that car did let her out.
She went to get her shoes.
And while she was there, she woke up two friends that she'd been with, two male friends that she'd been with that had gone to sleep in that park, got into the car and got to a destination safely in Shenton Park.
And it just makes you wonder.
We talked about those sliding doors moments last week, those tiny little things that can change the course of one's life.
And perhaps that was one of those moments for that lady.
Yeah, it was another one of those questions.
And that's quite proper, Matt, because basically she was, this witness today, the second witness, she was about to say what her friend had said.
Obviously, that's hearsay evidence.
And I've no doubt that at some point in the near or far future, we will hear from that friend who will be able to give her account directly.
