This is suggesting that mortality is lower in the overweight group.
The average height of children at age two doesn't vary very much according to their sex.
Boys are about one centimetre taller than girls on average, so that's only about a third of an inch.
It's obviously not sensible simply to double height because it means that boys and girls are going to be predicted to be the same height as adults, which we know they're not.
