And then, you know, it took me ten minutes to extricate myself from whatever interesting thing I was doing, looking at something, talking to someone, getting some food.
And then I got caught up talking to someone else and looking at other stuff.
And then all of a sudden it was it was later and I texted Mark and I said, Have you started that?
And he said
No, I just finished.
The video's over an hour and I thought, Man, Mark is so slow and he's focusing in too much detail on all of the stuff at the convention.
And then I realized, no, the convention is really, really that big.
And if you're gonna
just walk from one dealer to the next uh not too fast and show a couple of things with your with your camera phone.
There are hundreds of vendors uh in the main floor, in the exterior uh uh hallway, in the raised upper hallway.
Uh it actually would take that long.
And I know folks you're thinking you guys talk for two hours every week about 20 pages of comics.
And half that is just about five covers.
Trust me, Joe Fest is so big and dense, uh, it really would take even someone trying to go fast that long uh to do uh a a walkthrough video.
Right.
But then what if you're not if you're not stopping and looking, what's the fun?
What's the point?
And part of part of time moving slowly at JoeFest and other conventions is just sort of letting your eyeballs and your brain wander as you slowly look at some amazing toy still in the package, maybe G.I.
Joe, maybe not, that maybe you did have earlier.
uh in your life and maybe you didn't and maybe you've always wanted or maybe you forgot existed and then what's next to it and that's for sale and then they've got some oddball surprise thing and then maybe they've made their own thing and then you recognize someone and uh as much of uh a convention like this is buying or selling
