This this is from Mark has just Mark has just replaced a slide of a close up of an inked and colored panel with a blurry close up of a pencil panel.
Paul, is it possible that in Larry Hama's plot he said he wrote something like uh the the name tag is indecipherable or don't include a specific name?
No, no, no.
I I think we're sort of relieved because uh Snake Eyes' name, his file name, has always been classified in the comics and in the toys.
And uh and if you know Larry Hama has a real name for him, um he hasn't revealed it.
And if he was gonna reveal it, uh it might be here, but Mark and I suspect.
That if so, it would be a little bit more of a scene.
And so we sort of s we suspected that we were not supposed to be able to read it.
But we appreciate this exercise of that's that's probably not a tease, right it's probably a tease and not something that we're meant to worry about.
Let's talk about it anyway.
And the the pencils on this page are uh much more Mark, can you go back uh much more open, there's sort of less like inking to be done 'cause it's it's in the mindscape.
Diana Davis says in the comments of Larry Hama's uh writing in his plots, it's pretty simple, usually something like, quote, his uniform is on a hanger, unquote.
Right.
So um a descrip a description, but not too much of a description.
Those uh those medals on the left side, uh, and the brass knuckle knife, those were probably also specific call outs in the lama plot.
But Larry Hama has said in many interviews and on many panels that G.I.
Joe is just this ongoing retcon, right?
And and the example he often goes to is uh issue twenty one, where late in the comic, Storm Shadow is revealed to have a tattoo.
And then Snake Eyes has that same tattoo.
