And when I got to this page, I thought
Oh, is Snake Eyes gonna learn something about himself?
Or will he see something about himself that we've never known?
Because he's about to open up this locker, this foot locker.
And I had momentarily forgotten that that's where the egg is, even though Mindbender did
explain it in the previous issue.
And so I appreciate that Snake Eyes does uh overcome this mental adversity and he has the egg and he smashes it.
But I was also hoping a little some other thing would happen where Snake Eyes is in his own sort of mind flashback, because it's been a long time since we've had an added kernel to Snake Eyes's big
backstory and for so much of the Marvel run that was a big motivator.
And that may not be fair 'cause Hama, although he's talked about sort of the core of G.I.
Joe, is like Snake Eyes and Scarlet and Storm Shadow and to some extent uh Stalker, there have also been, you know, dozens and now hundreds of other issues about other Joes and other factions, you know, Destro and the October Guard and other countries and all that stuff.
So
On the one hand, I want I want there to be like a new reveal or kernel.
And on the other hand, it's an ensemble book, it's a team book.
Um, period.
My other thought about this issue is um
There's this there's this cool oh okay so squishy squishy says enjoyed the issue, but the crisis seems to have passed quickly.
Stalker figured out the trick of the original thirteen a bit too quickly, would have liked it drawn out a bit more.
Uh I'm inclined to agree, I do think with Dawn still under the spell, uh next issue will be And sh and question mark over Sean as well.
