Terrible running website. Nintendo cited Trump's tariffs as one of the reasons why Switch 2 pre-orders were initially delayed. While the Switch 2 price remains at $4.50, they did raise price on some accessories. Microsoft raised Xbox console prices, citing market conditions, but without mentioning tariffs specifically. Sony, for its part, raised PS5 prices in April.
Tabletop gaming companies are affected by the tariffs too. Whether or not gaming companies were baking the tariffs into their price increases is unclear. Also unclear is whether or not companies will offer refunds. You think they're gonna offer refunds, Greg? I don't think so. Not a goddamn chance and fuck. Nintendo's gonna be like, oh, you paid $135 for a Pro Controller.
