And so it's interesting, right? Like they're just like kind of like this, like, oh, monkey paw stuff. And again, we'll talk a lot more about this in the future. My takeaway from this is if it's multiplayer, I am really bummed out. It's exclusive specifically to Nintendo Switch. Yeah, it just that seems like a very, very poor call.

When asked about how PlayStation Productions decides which games should get adaptation treatment, he explained that Astro Bot picked up numerous awards last year, including Game Award for Game of the Year and the Dice Award for Game of the Year at the Dice Awards. So it was built up to an audience of enthusiasts. For us, it's okay. We've got to establish... It's okay.

We've established one of our... Sorry, let me say this again. For us, it's, okay, we've established one of our franchises as a great game. It's starting to get a built-in audience. It's winning awards. Those are very early indicators for us to want to try and grow that franchise and grow that IP. God, that makes me excited. Yeah, dude. You know what I mean? Just don't run.

The movie, TV, suicide, sure, cool, cool, whatever. Growing the franchise, let's go more Astro Bot. I think what people have seen in Hollywood is that video game adaptations, if done right, can actually be very popular and they scale very well. It's been a big sea change that I've seen in the last five or six years since we really started to come and deliver some great content.

Because of that, there's a confidence level the film industry is seeing. For one, they're seeing that some of the great creative ideas of stories are coming from video games. And the first one I think of is Astro Bot. What, you didn't love the narrative?

I've never said that either, by the way. Yes, you have. I think you say he's ugly. No, it's just uninspired. It's generic as hell. That's it. Find the clip. If I ever... That is me being like, oh, I know. But I just want to clear, like, my thoughts on Astro Bot is that it's uninspired and generic, and that is so sad for the most inspired 3D platformer I've played that wasn't made by Nintendo.
