And with expecting to do that, which is great.

I mean that's what you want, right?

You want to go out there and expect to make plays.

But when you do that, you gotta do it with good fundamentals and technique.

If you think that you're gonna, you know, uh in your mind's eye, you're gonna be able to slant across that guy's face or you're gonna be able to push that guy back and shed him and make a play, not in the NFL now.

It's not that way.

You gotta put together not only the will to wanna do it, but the technique of fundamentals to execute it.

And it looked like he had the will to wanna do it.

I think he had the confidence that he was gonna do it, but he's d the technique of fundamentals was lacking and he needs to pick that up in this next preseason game.

I I I first of all I think he's a confident kid.

Um and um at the defensive line position that doesn't hurt.

Uh I think he's got some good speed.

I think he's got good quickness.

I I would say if you asked me this last week, I'd say he plays with good leverage.

He didn't in this game.

So that concerns me a little bit.

But overall, you know, when when I watched some of the stuff he did in college

He looked like he played with good leverage and he was able to push guys back and shed guys and make plays in the backfield for tackles to loss.

Um and he he just didn't have that in this game.

Uh maybe because Chris Jones wasn't in there, so everybody's like, Okay, we're not gonna let this young guy, you know
