I'm curious because Ben Johnson told us at the beginning of the season he wants Caleb Williams to see the field as he sees it and vice versa.
Is this something where maybe the head coach and the quarterback need to get with that pass catcher's room, the receivers, the tight ends, and make sure they're also seeing coverages and the like in the same way that the quarterback does to make sure this thing doesn't happen in year two of Caleb Williams in this offense?
A hundred percent.
And that's the thing is, is it's, you know, it's a huge, I mean, obviously this was a glaring play, right?
Cause it ended the bear season, but it's so much deeper than that.
There are so many things that need to be addressed and it's not just this, it's everything.
Hey, where do I want your slant angle?
Against this coverage, go back to the Colston Loveland play and Chris Collins were speculating that he's supposed to sit down against zone and only take it on the under against man.
There are all these sorts of plays where it's like we've got to continue.
Right.
That's the next step.
And it's funny, I mean, Sean Payton, you guys know the big storyline in Denver right now.
Hey, Jarrett Stidham's going to start.
Sean Payton just came out and said, you know, I've always felt like it takes a quarterback three years to master what I want.
I mean, think about that.
If Sean Payton's sitting there going, you know, I've coached Drew Brees.
I feel like it takes three years.
You know, everybody in Denver's now saying, hey, Stidham's in year three, right?
We got to feel good about it.
But think about that for Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams.
