Even the serious stuff that maybe she could have handled a little bit better.
Was it all on her shoulders?
No.
But I think that she was so wrapped up in her own world back then and having an amazing show that she didn't stop and think for a second, like, maybe I shouldn't make this a joke or maybe I shouldn't make this whatever a joke.
And like especially the ones I remember there was one where they literally had to walk across.
It was water and there was these little like tiny rafts and one after the other.
And they were just floating rafts and they were in six inch heels.
And so at that point, it really just becomes kind of a joke.
Yeah.
And I feel like Tyra didn't really take it serious again until cycle 20, I think it was.
It was the first cycle that they had male and female models on.
So I feel like some of the shoots were a little less ridiculous because I think she wanted to be like, oh, we have men on the show now.
Let's actually put some good shoots together.
But I think...
Up until then, I think they were just kind of getting bored with it.
They had to have a gimmick every season.
And no models will ever be put in a situation where they have to walk in a dangerous situation where they'll be knocked off stage and laughed at by people.
That will never, ever happen.
I will say, because I've worked plenty of fashion shows backstage, I spend a lot of time covering bruises.
And because models are covered in bruises, they have bruises down their legs, on their feet.
