He's not going to leave his son in prison.
So why did he lie?
Hey, guys, I have breaking news.
Donald Trump is planning to put up Kash Patel to lead the FBI.
This is a really troubling choice.
There has been a tradition inside the FBI of independence post Watergate, a lot of reforms after Watergate, after the Hoover era where the FBI was acting as kind of a special armed forces, a special operations branch for the president.
And instead replacing it as an independent organization that focused on counterterrorism and focused on law enforcement.
And so this will be the second time that Donald Trump has kind of broken those new norms.
