So I was listening to one of your debates maybe from two weeks ago on the show where you were more concerned about job displacement than some of your co-panels.
I was talking a little bit with Derek Thompson last week.
Smart cat.
Yeah, really smart.
What he was basically saying was like, I don't know.
He's like, I know that's not what I'm supposed to do because I'm supposed to do an explainer podcast.
And he's like, I hear compelling arguments for the fact that AI is going to actually create so many efficiencies and so many potential opportunities that there'll be job growth.
And he's like, I see the apocalyptic version as well, where there's huge displacement.
Obviously, there'll be displacement in certain types of industries no matter what.
But the question is, how is it on balance?
I find it interesting that there was a lot of, I feel like, conversation about this over the last year.
There continues to be, but feeling like it was imminent.
And I don't know, I sense a little bit of a vibe shift where maybe this stuff isn't happening as imminently as people thought.
What do you make of that?
The Starbucks has come back.
Starbucks is kind of a countervailing story to that narrative.
Okay, my last thing on this, the other thing that people worry about is the new jobs, like new out of college.
I know that you have a big internship program.
I was just talking to some interns here about this question.
It's funny.
