What are we trying to do?
If we're trying to hit X revenue and we know our GP, we need to be able to back into our projects.
We might say, okay, if our goal is to do a million dollars in profit and we know what our GP is, and we know that typically our projects are one to $2 million, how many projects do we need to do to hit those numbers?

cvp is is the name of that exercise you kind of go through and you backwards plan to figure out like this is what i want to hit how do we hit it well if you don't have those numbers how do you work it how do you back into that what's cvp uh uh consumer volume price modeling let me confirm cvp using acronyms i don't know the names of yeah and it's like customer

Yeah, I think the reason it's so hard in construction is because your timing of money coming in and money going out is so far apart.
Right.
I guess like in retail, you buy, you buy a bunch of inventory, you know what it's going to sell for.
You slowly sell it down.
But in construction to try to model out, okay, what are the next couple of months look like for invoicing?
How much do we actually have on hand for customer deposits?
What, what of those deposits, how much have we applied to invoices so far?
Keeping track of all of that, I think just becomes overwhelming for a lot of, a lot of builders.
And they they go back to just doing a lot of times I'll actually see they'll just open up bank accounts for each individual project.
And they'll just look at the bank account number and say, well, if the bank account number is fine, then I must be okay on this project.
