Yeah, great time for the nation back home because, yeah, I know a lot of people who didn't watch the Mexico game with it being 2am Monday morning.
Probably the worst possible time for a football match to be held in England because, you know, they start the working week and lots of people I know missed it.
And that's part of the reason why the tournament hasn't really caught on back home.
Yeah, I was back in the UK for the group stage and now out here for the knockouts.
And yeah, a marked contrast in interest.
Obviously, we're here in the home nation, so you're going to expect everyone to be engaged.
But back home, it really hasn't caught on.
And purely for the fact that games are in the middle of the night and you're waking up to big moments and you haven't really got time to catch up on them before you start the day, etc.
