It's quite hard actually to understand the European Portuguese.

They don't open their mouths.

And the word for goal, there's a difference on the word for goal, for example.

The word for shirts, the word for fan, it's all different.

And there's some of the Portuguese cultures just stick rigorously to European Portuguese.

So Ancelotti coming in and right at the start he's saying, I remember his first press conference, he's saying, I can't do this one in Portuguese.

But the next one, I'm going to do it in Portuguese, right?

Okay.

PR genius on two levels.

Number one, it's fabulous to talk to people in their own language.

Number two, it's tough doing a language, a new language at his age.

And his son, who arrived at the same time, is just brilliant.

He's not as good.

It is a labored attempt.

But it's great PR.
