Well, that's the discipline of the people on the streets here, because look, everybody's armed.
This is America and this is Minnesota, myself included.
What else did he say to you, other than saying he wanted to work together?
I mean, what did he tell you about?
What did you talk about?
We have got children in Minnesota hiding in their houses, afraid to go outside.
Many of us grew up reading that story of Anne Frank.
Somebody's going to write that children's story about Minnesota.
And there's one person who can end this now.
I would beat the shit out of him now if I could, and I would call that out.
I mean, that's just different.
In verbally going at it, my argument was much better.
In making the case that housing prices are up because of immigration and that we should build on federal lands, it was such a crazy thing.
But then when I watched him, I got sucked into that.
And if you remember, this was right in that moment of eating dogs and cats.
I took that bait and thought that that was the argument of how outrageous it was.
That was not the argument.
yeah and look when we know that and and minnesota is going through it and the world's seen that but i think also minnesotans are showing the side of us that we were resolved and we're not going anywhere um with that being said um the white house i wish it was because of the moral outrage of the murder of alex and renee and the you know liam the little boy and everything else that they've traumatized to our state but my guess is it probably has more to do with dropping poll numbers but either way they get to that place what i will say that i feel
you know, skeptically optimistic, if there's a term there, I'm a little bit cautious on it, that Tom Ullman landed last night and he was in my office this morning, you know, at nine o'clock.
I never met Greg Bravino, Kristi Noem, who I've known for decades, served with in Congress, we're neighbors here in states.
