Well, it's pathetic then.

And it's a sad indictment that this is where the game has got to, that an umpire can feel disrespected.

because he appears hypersensitive to something.

And that is enough.

Feeling disrespected is enough to swing a game, to damage a player's reputation and have something referred to the tribunal.

In as much as if he saw the goals and he thought that he was a good chance within 50 metres of goal, anywhere within 50 metres of goal, he was very blinkered and single-minded about what he was going to do.
