He coaches the club.
But are there roadblocks within the Carlton system that would deny him being able to do that somewhere?
I can imagine.
Could you?
Well, I don't know.
It's a different club.
It's operated on emotion for a long time.
Not dissimilar to my football club over a period of time as well, particularly the last 20 years.
So it might be a different beast.
It might be something that he's confronted with there that he's never in the time that he was at the City Swans, he was never confronted with.
And it is uncomfortable because there is a coach that's still coaching, and this is why we struggle to do this.
But these circumstances have evolved now to the point where you get asked what you think is going to happen.
Well, that's just my opinion.
And he may coach the end of the year, and God love him if he turned it around.
It would be one of the great things that happen in footy because we don't see it too often.
We won't go on and on about it because we've talked about it for the best part of six or seven weeks.
We'll take a couple of calls and we'll move on to a couple of other issues.
