But when it comes to public transportation, it seems that we struggle to find money for it.

to the point where it's often written out of the budget altogether.

So the last budget we've seen kind of just maintains a system.

It doesn't invest in expanding it.

And a lot of that money just goes again back into roads, roads that need constant maintenance, that need further expanding, that encourage more driving.

So it's really just how we place our priorities.

Yeah, you know, I'm one of those people that uses every form of public transport.

I walk a lot.

I take my kids to school on a cargo bike.

But sometimes I drive because that's the only way to really efficiently get somewhere.

And when I go to work, I usually get on a bus and get on a ferry or get on my bike.

So those are my primary ways of getting around.

And so the more of those we make available to everybody, the better off we're all going to be in terms of getting people out of just strictly using their cars.
